Lily Pictures- 37 Weeks

I'm actually pretty disgusted at how far behind I am!
Tomorrow I am going to finish up one of my photoshoots that I've been working on and then I'm going to work on getting this blog up to date before I do anything else!

[[HAHA, That took me a little while, but here they are:)]]

Thirty-seven Weeks old!

Life is sooo hectic here! Class and family and Lily and church... I have fallen sooo behind on editing and posting since I've been here! I am lucky enough to have my computer here, set up in my room with Internet! But by the time the day is done and I come back here to edit and post I'm exhausted and end up emailing Thomas and then going to bed! It's 3:15 A.M. right now and I knowww I'm going to pay for this when Lily wakes up in a few hours and is awake for the morning! But I have to get caught up!
Lily is great in the morning though! She is sleeping in Haley's room down the hall from me. And when she gets up I bring her into bed with me and nurse her and then turn on the TV to Noggin and she lays there for anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and watches baby cartoons and sings and babbles to herself while I rest! I never fully go back to sleep but it's so nice to just have that little bit of transition time in the morning! She must know that her momma is NOT a morning person and needs to be warmed up every morning!! Smart girl!
But I look forward to that snuggle time every morning!
It was another big week for Lily! She started crawling! I can't say that she's hauling butt across the room or anything! But she is definitely moving hands and knees to get where she needs to go even if she does fall on her face almost every time! It's so amazing to watch her look at a toy and then take off after it!
She started climbing into my lap this week too! She'll make her way over to me and then laugh and grunt until she's usually hanging over the side of my legs just kicking and squealing with pride! She's tried to pull her self up in the couch and the table a few times but she's not quite strong enough yet! But she'll stand there for a while if I stand her up to them!
She is an attention hog too! She's always been pretty quiet around me. If it's just me and her at the house she's content to just sit with me and play with her toys. But if someone else is in the room and talking to me and not paying her any attention she will start talking/laughing/squealing/screaming at them until they start paying attention to her!! It's crazy how loud she gets! But she is soooo happy once they start talking to her! She plays shy a lot now too! Sometimes when she gets their attention she'll bury her face in my chest to hide and then peek back out and start screaming again for them to look back at her! She's a nut!!
I can't say 100%... but I'm pretttty sure that she can wave now too! If you say "hi" or "bye bye" to her and wave she will flap her right arm at you! It's pretty amazing! She lights up when she does it! ...Well, unless it's me saying "bye bye" to her! Then she starts crying lol! But I'm so proud of her!!

Lily Pictures- 36 Weeks

Thirty-six Weeks Old!

This week flew by! I started classes and started working at the church for my mom in the nursery!
I had a photoshop class every morning from 9-noon. My Grandmother's husband [my Papa Jesse] passed away on Wednesday so my Dad flew to Texas on Friday... leaving me without a babysitter. I ended up hiring Danielle to watch Lily while I was in school! This is really bizarre to me since I was in Youth Group with Danielle! She is best friends with my sister-in-law and it's so strange to think of her babysitting my daughter! It wasn't very long ago that I was a babysitter! I just can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm hiring babysitters now! It's really crazy!
But Danielle did GREAT! Lily was really good for her [or so she says;)] and she texted me pictures of Lily everyday! I loved that sooo much! It was so great to be able to go to class knowing that Lily was being taken care of by someone that really loved her! I was able to focus on the class and not have to worry every two seconds if everything was alright back home!
Unfortunately, I wasn't with Lily as much as I usually am. And by the time the week was over I really felt like I missed so much... even just missing a few hours of her day felt like a month of missed experiences!!
It was a big transition week for Lily! She started scooting across the floor on her butt to get to her toys! And she tired pulling herself up a few times on the coffee table!
She has settled in here so easily! She is great with other people as long as I'm not any where around! She stays in the nursery at church with all of those great ladies and with my mom on the nights I'm in class and does wonderfully for them! She's stuck to her schedule and is eating like a cow! She loves to snuggle on the couch with her grandparents or aunts and watch TV or play in their laps!
I am sooo happy that I decided to come stay in Jacksonville for these few months! It is soooo priceless for our family to have this time with Lily!
