He Made It!
I finally got to talk to Thomas on the phone tonight [his birthday:)]!!
He left Germany early Wednesday morning [our time]. He called tonight while I was in my photography class! God is sooooo good!... the teacher had just let us out for a 5 minute break when the phone started buzzing!!! It was s short and sweet conversation but we did the typical "I love you."..."No, I love youuu!" kind of thing and talked a little about the bday package he got from me! I sent that out last Tuesday and was so scared he wasn't going to get it since they were laid over in Germany for so long! But he got it today, on his actual birthday! So I was so happy about that! And so was he! I just sent him a few things for his iPod. He's sooo hard to shop for! He got an armband that he can use while he's working out. He got some new headphones and a portable speaker that he can have for his room or work or whatever! And he got a card from me and another one from Lily! I had nooo idea what to do with the card from Lily so I just traced her hand print and signed her name inside of it!!
I will post his address in the morning. But you can email him anytime! His email address is listed on the right side of the blog! Please email him... I'm sure he would love to hear from all of you!

Thirty-five Weeks Old!
This week was all over the place! I was trying to get everything ready for our trip to Jacksonville... allthewhile being a tad depressed and lazy! It was a little strange not to have Thomas come home at the end of my days... I had no one to cook for, no one to get dressed or brush my teeth for... It was a little unnerving! I finally got my act together the day before Lily and I were supposed to drive to Jacksonville! I almost cancelled the trip all together but knew that I would change my mind in a few days and by then it would be too late to register for my classes... and it would all be messed up! I still didn't shower or brush my teeth... but I got it together enough to pack and get on the road! And I'm so glad I did!
Lily was great this whole week! Maybe she knew her Momma couldn't handle her being a monster and decided to give me a few peaceful, loving days! That's one thing that I love about being a mother... I'm never at a loss of love! Even when my husband is on the other side of the world all I have to do is look down at our baby girl and get flooded with it! I feel our love for each other... my love for her... his love for her... her love for us... Love Love Love Love Love!
I posted earlier about her almost crawling and her second tooth! I guess I knew I would be posting later than normal because of the trip and wanted to keep you guys updated as closely as possible! But other than those two things she hasn't really been doing much! Still loving her spoons... and straws! She played with Haylee a few times and came to my photo shoots with me this past weekend! That was good and bad! She's starting the separation anxiety phase... I'm guessing her Daddy disappearing hasn't helped that much! So she wanted to have her eyes on me at all times... and needed to be held by me most of the time! So most of my shoots were done with her on my hip or in my lap! At least I was shooting families with children her age, so they understood!
She watches her Daddy's video almost everyday... and loves it! She gets so excited to see him! I'll have to get a video of it so everyone can see! It melts my heart every time!

Almost There!!
Lily is very unofficially crawling!!
She will get up on her hands and knees, kick off with her feet, dive/fall forward some, get back up on her hands and knees and do it all over again until she gets to where she wants to be! So, technically, I guess she's mobile now... it's just not traditional crawling yet... or graceful!! She looks like a baby seal flopping around the beach lol! But she is so determined:) And gets faster and faster at it! By the time I left my plate on the floor [on the other side of the carpet] to grab a bottle of water in the kitchen and come back she was already only fingertips away from the plate!
[[She loves the mushy potatoes on the inside of my tater tots! So she was VERY determined to get to the ones on my plate!]]

I have 2 teeth now!!!
Lily broke her second tooth through today!!!
It's the front/bottom/left tooth... to match her first one!
She was a perfect baby today! She woke up a little early but took two good naps and was a great baby while we ran around base with Nichole and Haylee! She L.O.V.E.S. swings:)
She was kind of tough to put to bed. She was just having too much fun with me I guess, even though I was drained! I laid her down when she started rubbing her eyes and laying her head down but she screamed! Owell, I just let her cry... until my mom called! She couldn't handle hearing Lily in the background and peer pressured me into going in and picking her up! Silly mushy grandmas!
Thomas is in Germany still... or so he told me yesterday in an email. I haven't heard from him since. But the last word was that they were to be laid over there for a few days!
