*IMPORTANT*IMPORTANT*IMPORTANT*
[[I have posted a lot today... so make sure you go down and catch up on all of it!]]
Right now my blog is open to everyone! It's been that way for almost a year!
But the more Thomas and I talk about it... the more we are wanting to make the blog Private!
We love sharing our life with Lily with all of you and want everyone to be able to continue to follow along with us!!
Basically the blog will be "Invite Only" starting next week!
All you have to do is email me at WhittenHM@gmail.com sometime this week [before Dec9th] and let me know that you want to keep following along with us!! I'll add your email address to my invite list and you will get an email from BLOGGER and then be able to log on and check in on us with no problem!!
Please don't feel intimidated by this!! I love sharing all of this with all of you... so even if you found the blog through one of my message boards, you're a friend of one of our family members or if we don't talk all of the time... I want to to be able to follow along with us!! I don't hold grudges so don't feel like I wouldn't want you to be reading! As long as you can legitimately say that we are connected somehow and that you're not just a weirdo stealing pictures of my little baby, you WILL be added to the list!!
Next Wednesday I will be making the switch when I post the next update!
So I hope you will continue to join us!!

It's Our 3 Year Anniversary [Slide Shows]
Three years ago today Thomas and I committed our lives to each other in front of our family, our friends and our God! I am proud to say that this road has not always been easy. There have been trials along the way ranging from us having to adjust to sharing every second of your life with another person to dealing with being separated from each other for months at a time by Thomas' military deployments and then there are all of the issues we were faced with while we tried to grow our family and now the issues we are facing as a young military family!! But, through that all we stand together as a wonderfully blessed couple! I am thankful everyday for the man that God placed in my life 7 years ago! Even though we aren't always graceful in our love for each other... there is no doubt that it is there! The past three years have flown by. They have been full of new experiences and memories that we will cherish forever! And though I know that the next three years will fly by even faster, we are looking forward to spending them together! And we are so thankful that we get to spend this crazy beautiful life together!

Fifteen Weeks Old!
Ok! I am finally caught up!!
I was not feeling up to blogging or taking a ton of pictures like I usually do since I was sick and we had a lot going on!
Lily had her first thanksgiving:) We spent the day between Thomas and my parent's houses!
We started off at a lunch with Thomas' family! There are well over 20 people on that side with all of their children and grandchildren plus friends! It's always a good time when we get together! We had a ton of food and played board games! Almost everyone took a turn holding Lily... it was the first time they had really had the chance to spend time with her! ofcourse, I don't have ANY pictures:(
Then we went over to my parent's house (where we were staying) and finished helping my mom cook and ate again! My sister, Haley was home from college so it was really nice to get to spend time with her! We also celebrated her 21st birthday! I can't believe that she is that old! Time is flying!
I don't have any pictures from there either! Just too much going on I guess!! I'm kicking myself for it now though!
All in all, this week has been better than last week! Lily is over her cold and eye infection completely! Thomas left Monday morning for a 2 week training trip to Navada! So this is the first time I have ever been taking care of Lily completely on my own! I wasn't too worried about it! I basically do that when he is home since he is so busy with work and school! But I am missing having a little break every now and then! Especially since Lily got a little spoiled after 4 days of grandparents and aunts and uncles holding her all the time! She only wanted to sleep on my lap monday and tuesday! Today she seems to be getting back in the hang of thigs! She put herself to sleep for her morning nap and fell asleep again in her swing after eating! So I am feeling a little better! I don't know how much longer I would have lasted with her being so clingy!!
Developmentally, she is growing so fast! I'm not too keen on reading up on and stressing over baby mile stones, so I have no idea how "on track" she is! But I think she is doing great! She is holding her head up with very little to no bobbing at all now! And she can turn her head to look at what ever she wants! Tummy time is getting better! When she wakes up from a nap she will look around and smile at me! She was laughing at her blanket the other day!
She found her feet this weekend too! So those are one of her new favorite toys!! Everytime she is on her back she folds them up and grabs onto her socks! They are sooo stretched out now lol! She's got a little too much thigh and tummy in the way, so she isn't chewing on her toes... yet!
She loves her little froggie toy that I forced Thomas to buy for her a few weeks ago! It was only a dollar at old navy and I just had to have it!! I am so glad I did! The legs are long and skinny and she loves holding on to them like she holds on to my fingers! And she likes to chew on his eyes!!
It's really great watching her!! It's like she is this little person now! I can see more and more of her personality every day!

Great Grand Parents [Lily pics-14weeks]
Lily got to meet 3 of her Great Grandparents last month!
Thomas' grandparents live in Eden, North Carolina... only a 2 hour drive from Fayetteville! And since Thomas' brother, Zachary, was leaving for a 2 year tour to Italy, we decided to join his family for a visit!
It was the first time they have met her and she is the first great grandchild for them!
It was so special to see them all with her! She was still a little under the weather but she was all smiles the whole time!! Such a great baby!
Here are a few pics from the trip!
