::a FOUR week round up::

less than 10 weeks until she's a year old!

Sorry it's been a while.
Things have been crazy here. Both good and bad.
I've been in a weird place the last few weeks and updating this blog was pretty much the farthest thing from my mind! I apologize! I will work this weekend to get some more pictures posted:)

My dad's dad and his wife with her two grandchildren came for a week! They are my Mammaw and Pappaw! I loved having them here and having them be around Lily! Although Lily never did get a chance to warm up to them:( It was such a busy week! But a great week! We went to the beach and to the aquarium andd she got a henna tattoo on her cute little foot:)

Lily has grown up so much in the past month! It's so crazy to see this little girl that used to be my tiny newborn! She is a crawling machine! She is neverrrr still! She crawls over to something and stands up and walks along the edges now! She is pushing up her two bottom-side teeth now and they are not being very nice about:(
She is eating tons of table food and handling it all very well! The girl can eat:) My mom let her have a chocolate doughnut at a softball game and Lily was up all night with reflux:( Just like her daddy, poor girl! But she loves scrambled eggs, just like her momma:)

She is talking and singing up a storm! She says Da-Da all the time but never actually to Thomas' pictures or videos! But it still melts my heart! She has started mouthing the "MmMmMm" and the "NnNnNn" shapes so I'm sure she'll be starting those soon:) I have no idea what I'm going to do the first time the girl calls me "Momma"! ...yes I do! I'm going to have the biggest smile on my face and the warmest warmth in my heart and then I'm going to bawl my eyes out lol!!
She has started clapping toys together and will clap her hands sometimes but usually just while she's talking to herself. She's never mimicked me doing it. Soon:):(

We are under a month away from Thomas' homecoming! I can't believe how fast this deployment has gone by:) I know it's a short one but it has still flown! I hope the more we go through the faster they go by! That would be nice!
Each deployment has made such an impact on our relationship. On our marriage! There's no way to explain it. It's just something that has to be pushed through. We come up against so many blocks along the way but we HAVE to push through them! And I'm proud to say we do each and every time! It's hard. There's no lying about that! I wish I was the kind of wife that smiled all the time and had ridiculously strong faith that he will be ok. That we will be ok. But I'm not. I don't think that woman actually really exisists either lol! But our love is strong. Even when we are not. It pushes us through! There's nothing we wouldn't do to keep this love alive! It's undeniable:)
