Forty-four Weeks Old!

The weeks are blowing by at this point! Thomas will be home in three and Lily will be a year old in eight!! I am happy and sad at how fast the time is moving! I am so ready to have my husband home again but I'm not sure how ready I am to be moving! I get very excited when I think about all of the new opportunities and adventures we are going to have as a family out there! But then I think about being so far from our family and friends and my heart breaks:(

Lily is doing amazing! She eats like a cow! It has been constant this week! I guess she's growing! I love that she can just eat off of y plate now though! Makes life a lot easier when we are out in a restaurant!
She is still not walking! And still insists on crawling and pulling up on things to explore! I already miss the days when she just sat on the rug and played with her toys:P But I love how curious, determined and fearless she is! I am already so proud of the little person she is!

This week was pretty busy for us! We spent Saturday at the beach with some of my friends from high school and their babies! We met in sixth grade! It was pretty bizarre chasing our kids around the beach together! But I loved every minute of it! Sunday was church and Father's day! We took my dad out to lunch and gave him his gift and Lily gave him his first "Pop Pop" card:) Thomas and I are celebrating both, Mother's and Father's days when he gets home! I think our first ones are pretty special and I want to be able to celebrate them together! Monday we did more beach with friends and kicked off Vacation Bible School at church! I am helping my mom with crafts! Lily has done pretty good with the strangers in the nursery. But I have picked her up around 8:00 both nights since that's her normal bed time and I know she gets cranky then. Today we have relaxed a bit! We went to lunch with my friend Debra and now Lily is taking a nap while I update and start sorting through her pictures!
