Lily had a great time at the beach on Memorial Day! My mom and Hunter took us out to Onslow Beach for a few hours! I bought a little tent at the C-store there. Best 14 bucks I've spent in a while! She played in there with some of her toys for a while before she tried to venture out on her own and discovered sand for the first time! She ate it and loved it too! Then she drank a ton of water from her sippy cup before continuing her adventure! We took her down to the water a few times. She splashed and laughed and never cried! My mom says she's a lot like me in that sense! I was fearless as a child! So that made me happy and instantly terrified at the same time!
All-in-all it was a great day! She was a great baby as usual! She handled the whole new experience like a pro and I'm hoping to go more often once I get a new bathing suit! Yes, that's me in the bikini, on the beach, 9 months after giving birth! I am both proud and embarrassed! But I did it:)

Go Heather!! I hate swimsuits!! I wore my old bikini in April when we went out of town....I have had 14 months and I still am not happy...luckily all my old swimsuits are TOO big...to the point the bottoms fall down so I had to wear shorts!! Hopefully in time it will all work out!! We really need to get together when u arent too busy...almost any friday is a good day for me!
