Twenty-six Weeks Old!

Wow! Twenty-six weeks! That is officially half of a year! She will be 6 months old on Friday! It's just so amazing how fast that went!
This week was a good one! She is teething like crazy and I think I can already tell which tooth is going to come in first! [Vote over on the right and we'll see if you are right!!]
She has been waking up twice after she goes to bed a little after 8:00. Usually once around midnight and then again around 4:00 in the morning! I called my mom and she said to up her solids. So now she's getting rice cereal and fruit mixed for breakfast, nursing and drinking water throughout the day and then getting a vegetable at dinner time! Yesterday was the first day of that and she only woke up once last night! But she only had half of the vegetable... tonight she ate all of her breakfast and had a whole thing of squash before bed! So I have my fingers crossed that she'll sleep all of the way through!
I posted some videos earlier this week of her "scooting"! They don't do her any justice at all! She is doing really great! Loves being on her tummy and moves all over the rug and then will flip over and play even longer on her back! She is reaching and rolling for things so well now too!
She was in her jumper-roo today for a while and started bouncing for the first [real.intentional] time! It was pretty neat! She seemed really proud of herself when I started gushing all over her about what a big girl she was! And she twirled and swung herself in her Johnny Jumper tonight while I was making dinner! It's crazy how capable she is becoming!
She moved up in diapers! She is now in size 3 diapers! Which, in Pampers, she has moved out of the "Swaddlers" and into the "Cruisers"!! That about broke my heart! My child can not possibly be old enough to be a cruiser! But I'm sure she'll be cruisin' soon! [Too soon:(]
It hit me this week that she is totally out of that "eat/sleep/poop" stage of her life! She really needs a lot from me! Attention, stimulation, solids, water, scheduling, etc.! I am really getting into Mommyhood now! And I love it! It scares me to death sometimes though! I'm pretty much convinced that I'm going to kill her somehow!... But once I come to my senses I realize that I'm actually doing a pretty good job and she's actually a pretty great daughter! But I still call my mom a lot to make sure I'm not doing something drastically wrong or completely forgetting something all together! [Thanks mommy!!]
But I do have to say that Lily can be a little evil every now and then! She is very good at letting me know when she isn't happy with something I'm doing/not doing! She has started pulling her paci out of her mouth and throwing it when she is sleepy but doesn't think she's ready to lay down for a nap! And she will be feeding and then take a handful of my breast [so sad that that is even possible these days:( Good-bye firm... Hello flab!] and rip it out of her mouth and then stuff it back in!.. all while screaming at me at the top of her lungs and giving me evil eyes! It's quite a sight!
All in all she is amazing and I love every little part of her so far and know it's only going to get better the more I get to know HER!

If you think nursing is bad now, wait till her teeth come in :)
